Emeritus Travel Grants for NIR-2017

The Council may provide a maximum of two Emeritus Grants, to assist eligible senior scientists, who have retired from full-time paid employment, to attend the NIR-2017 Conference and act as mentors to young scientists, providing research advice in a designated and closed conference session.

 

To apply for an ICNIRS Emeritus travel grant for NIR-2017 please submit:

  • a resume
  • a BRIEF outline of current and past NIR research and/or development
  • a detailed budget including total estimated costs of attending the conference, the amount(s) and source(s) of already secured or promised funding and the specific amount requested from ICNIRS
  • a brief outline on how you will organise and contribute the designated and closed conference session , according to your knowledge about traditional time-table at ICNIRS Conferences
